The Crimson SunThe crimson sun’s glow shone on the otherwise bright green hillside. This lone hill created the only clearing in the dark, dense forest. It was a beautiful shrine; the only location for miles around that you could see the sun, the moon, or the clouds. On the crest of the hill sat a lovely little girl, tarnished by dirt and sweat. She sat with her tiny head between her knees, her slender arms around her legs, and her silky hair draping from her back around to the sides of her arms.
